Calder Stewart is one of New Zealand’s most respected names in steel manufacturing and construction. Their Milton facility partnered with Sunshine Solar to implement a large-scale 300kW solar system that significantly reduces their operational energy costs while supporting their sustainability goals.

The expansive rooftop of the steel factory provided an ideal canvas for this substantial solar array. The installation maximises energy generation during peak production hours, directly offsetting the facility’s considerable power consumption from manufacturing operations.
